According to different estimates, there are between 100 and 150 million Wills and Medical Instructions in the United States, which are stored in hardcopies archives and are difficult to access by family members or beneficiaries at the most critical moments of life (death or different medical situations).
Due to fire, flood, hurricane, theft, death or loss, many of these documents cannot be accessed or even used when they are really needed.
Despite the many digital storage services where you can upload documents, like Dropbox or Google Drive, most of them do not apply to storage of accessible, un-hackable documents which have legal validity. Therefore, they are not useful in court or for any legal process.
This is a “NEED” which requires an answer.
DDA has developed the DocumentsForever Platform that is able to take your documents and digitize them, to preserve their legal value, create a chain of custody, keep them safely stored forever, and facilitate their access for relatives and authorized persons to and from anywhere in the world.
DocumentsForever (D4E) provides an extremely inexpensive platform with the opportunity to store and retrieve any and all of your important legal documents for your lifetime and beyond.
With no charge for storage, D4E collects a small fee when a document is uploaded or downloaded to the D4E Platform. Although the company will commence with the U.S. market, the goal is the Global Market.
As part of our strategy, we have created the Inter-American Institute for Legislative and Technological Harmonization of the Digital Legal Document. The company is already making strategic contacts across Latin America and Europe to help to facilitate the later introduction of our D4E platform.
